Excavation

Excavation services on diverse, small and large-scale, residential and commercial projects.

  • Site Development-Commercial and Residential
  • Push Outs
  • Trenching
  • Septic System Installation
  • Subdivision Infrastructure
  • Road, Driveway, and Sidewalk Construction
  • Mass and Fine Grading

The cost of excavating a utility trench can vary based on several factors, including:

Trench Length: The overall length of the trench will influence the cost.

Rock Hammering: If rock hammering is required, it may increase costs.

Backfill Requirements: Whether the excavated material can be reused or if imported material is needed will affect the pricing.

Type of Utility: The specific utility being installed can also impact the cost.

To provide an accurate estimate, we recommend speaking with one of our estimators. Please contact our office to schedule a discussion about your project specifics.

To grade and gravel a driveway is a job-specific task depending on the length, width, and depth of gravel required for your driveway. Please call to schedule a time with an estimator who will be happy to help you with your specifications to determine the cost for your project.

We handle full-scope earthwork, including site prep, mass excavation, grading, trenching, foundation cuts, and material management for both residential and commercial projects.

Yes, we are City of Bend Right-Of-Way Certified.

We construct subdivision infrastructure, but we do not perform the production home site dig-outs or utilities.

Yes

Demolition

Offering all the resources under one roof to complete your commercial and residential demolition projects on time and on budget.

  • 40-yard Demolition Boxes
  • Transfer Trucks to Dispose of the Waste
  • When Possible, Salvageable Wood is Taken to Our Recycle Center, Thereby Reducing Your Cost and Minimizing Landfill Waste.

Rock Crushing

Make use of the dirt and rock on your property or project. Portable crushing plants offer a more economical alternative to hauling off unwanted rocky material or purchasing usable aggregate material.

  • ¾ minus
  • Drain Rock
  • Top Soil
  • Screened Dirt
  • Base Material

Yes. We can produce aggregates in various sizes to meet your project needs and specifications.

Yes, we deliver to most areas in Central Oregon.

In many cases, yes. Reusing material already on your site can reduce the need to purchase and transport new aggregate.

Yes. It reduces trucking, fuel use, and landfill waste while promoting recycling and reuse of materials already on-site.

Trucking

  • Live Floor
  • Dump Truck
  • Chip Hauling
  • Tub/Belly Dump
  • Stellar Box Trucks
  • Lowboy/Equipment Hauling

It depends on the truck and your location. We typically charge by the ton of material plus truck time to deliver the load. Our material and truck rates can be found on the “Materials” tab of our website, however, different trucks can hold different amounts and time to various location can vary. Call our office to speak to someone for project specific pricing.

No, but we do have super dump trucks, which can hold roughly 18 cubic yards or 25 ton of payload without a trailer.

If the area to receive the material is flat side to side, we can spread loads of most aggregate materials with dump trucks; however, it will not result in a finished surface or a consistent depth, width, etc. We recommend using grading equipment to finish all surfaces, even with spread-dumping the load.

Grinding

For any land-clearing or grinding project, we can resourcefully collect and process sod, mulch, brush, trees, and limbs, as well as other types of waste wood for recycling and other uses.

Typically, we can grind about 200 cubic yards per hour. Large projects can be bid on a per truckload basis. Please call our office to speak with a representative about estimating your project.

Because every situation and job is unique, and the quantity of trees is difficult to determine, we typically require at least five chip truckloads, which equate to approximately 400 cubic yards of ground material, which translates to around 1,000 cubic yards of loose wood debris.

The grinder can accept a 12″ stump; anything larger must be split into two or four pieces. Stumps must be free of dirt and rock.

The customer is responsible for splitting stumps larger than 12″ in diameter. Any stumps larger than 12″ will be split on an hourly basis.

The material can be left on-site for use as mulch, erosion control, or ground cover, or hauled away.

Wood and Aggregate Recycling

Recycled wood fiber is a major component of the management and utilization of construction, demolition, and land clearing waste. There are a variety of end uses for secondary wood fiber that support waste minimization

Clean dirt, rock, asphalt, and rebar-free concrete is free of charge to dispose of. Sod, concrete with rebar, and wood materials are charged a nominal disposal fee. Details can be found on the “Materials” tab of our website.
